Jennifer Restrepo is a Certified Paralegal and Florida Notary with more than 14 years of legal experience supporting attorneys and clients in probate administration, probate litigation, and a broad range of civil litigation matters. She is known for her exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and commitment to providing responsive, client-focused service throughout every stage of the legal process.
At Luis E. Barreto & Associates, Jennifer works closely with the firm’s attorneys to assist in the administration of estates and trust matters, as well as probate litigation. She prepares and files pleadings and court documents, coordinates hearings, mediations, depositions, and client meetings, manages case files from inception through resolution, and serves as a primary point of contact for clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel. Jennifer understands that probate matters often arise during difficult times and is committed to helping clients navigate the legal process with professionalism, compassion, and care.
Prior to joining Luis E. Barreto & Associates, Jennifer gained extensive experience with several respected South Florida law firms, where she handled complex litigation matters involving probate and guardianship disputes, business litigation, real estate litigation, family law, and foreclosure litigation. Her comprehensive knowledge of Florida court procedures, electronic filing systems, trial preparation, and case management enables her to provide strategic support to the firm’s attorneys while ensuring that each matter is handled efficiently and with the highest level of professionalism.
Jennifer earned her Paralegal Certificate from the University of Miami and her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. She is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to effectively serve the firm’s diverse clientele.
